It's finally here--
The kids returned to school today
Afton picked out a special outfit for 2nd grade
Matt just threw on his old summer clothes for 4th grade
Dad promised to embarrass them at the bus stop
but really just asked for hugs and hi-5's
And away they go!
And they are back again
(only a half day to start things off)
They both reported liking their classes and teachers
and are excited to go back tomorrow!
So begins another great year!

Ah...the first day of school. Looks like fun! I actually can't ever remember a first day of school until high school. I must've blocked them out.

I cannot believe that summer is over... I teared up looking at your kids going back to school, so I will definitely be a mess when Katelyn heads back on the 8th. I love seeing pictures of Afton - she is a miniature you! I hope the rest of their week is great!

They are getting to be so grown up! I still remember meeting Afton for the first time when you guys cam over to our townhouse with her in a SLING! ;) Does the bus stop at your driveway??? SOOO nice ;)
