Thanksgiving!

We went to Utah to spend Thanksgiving with family this year.
This is the first time we've traveled back home for Thanksgiving since we moved to Chicago almost twelve years ago.  It was fun to be with family again and to pack a lot into our week there!
I made my dad and early Christmas present--a quilt with pictures of all of us the last few years.
I told him then we'd always be watching him when he hangs us on the banister by his chair!

Aunt Brittany, Aunt Sarah and Aunt Kelsey entertained the girls one day with gingerbread houses!
The girls love to hang out with their cousins and having a fun activity made it even better!

We introduced our kids to the lights on Temple Square-
it was beautiful and fun, even with the crowds!

And just hanging out with Grandma is always a good time!
Nora loves to cuddle-and Grandma and Grandpa are happy to be the cuddlers of choice...

Happy Thanksgiving Weekend

We headed down to Uncle Doug and Auntie Cheryl's for Thanksgiving week
They are the best hosts and lots of fun to hang out with
We also got to see Uncle Nate and Aunt Alli, which is always awesome.
Plus the kids love being with the cousins (technically, they're Paul's cousins)

I wasn't required to do much, but I did produce these:

I volunteered to be the roll girl--they were very yummy, if I do say so myself.
They also look good on Cheryl's beautiful table!

Thanks for the great Atlanta Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Birthday Troy!

Yeah--I love Thanksgiving.  This year is my first year cooking the whole meal at home--
we usually go to friends' houses, but we have guests ourselves--
Ryan & Ruth Ann brought their kids and we get to have family for the holiday!
Today we are also excited to celebrate Troy's birthday!
Happy Birthday buddy--it's been fun watching you grow up
and see all the great things you're doing!
We hope you have a great day--although, knowing you and eating,
we have no doubt that it will be!
