I'm Back...

I'm back to reality
We spent two great weeks in the Mediterranean
As soon as I saw the pile of mail, school notices, bills, errands to run, etc
I momentarily wanted to skip reality and head back on vacation!

But we are so glad to be home.
Halle was jumping up and down with excitement when we pulled up
Matt and Afton played it cool and just wanted their souvenirs
Nora wouldn't come to me--just to her daddy.
She's slowly adjusting back to me.

Being away always reminds me how much I long to be home again.
It was a bit sad to spend Mother's Day away from the kids
(this is the first year the oldest 3 are all in primary to sing on Sunday)
And I'm realizing more and more how quickly they're growing up
Honestly, if I could, I would freeze them all right now
I have the best of all worlds--3 very independent, fun kids
who are all at such great, interesting, and entertaining stages in their lives
and one very cuddly, cute baby who brings so much joy to my day

And now I am up at 3 am because my internal clock is wacky!
And I'm feeling sentimental and also a little stressed with reality
so much to get done in a very little time!
But feeling very blessed to have great experiences
and a great family with whom to share them.

(as soon as I'm back to normal, I'll post pictures of my great trip)
