Nora is One

Today is Nora's birthday!

It has flown by--more quickly than I thought it could.

Poor little girl has a sniffle.

She was up last night because it woke her up--

I relished the chance to sit and rock her for an hour.

(She usually goes to sleep by herself, but with her cold, she was having a hard time)

I realized that this may be one of my last baby-rocking experiences

-Don't get me wrong, I love sleeping through the night,
 but I miss the quiet cuddling-

We rocked and rocked and rocked until she fell asleep snoring

I snuggled her close to me and felt so much love and gratitude for this sweet girl

Her calm nature and happy demeanor have brought so much joy to our family

Her 1st year has passed in the blink of an eye

and I so wish that time would slow down
