Afton came home from kindergarten excitedly telling me about the election. The kids in her class got to vote for President as they learned about our election today. She brought home a bar chart that showed 14 votes for John McCain and 9 votes for Barack Obama. I asked her who she had voted for and she proudly stated Barack Obama.

Sad to say a lot of the country will be using the same type of logic, or lack thereof...........
Too bad Tiger isn't running for President...I would totally vote for him!
That is the funniest thing I have heard all day! Thanks for making me laugh Afton!
Wow, voting in kindergarten - that's amazing. Actually I hope the whole thing goes that way 14 for McCain and 9 for Obama is headed in the right direction. Would certainly make my day!!
Love, Grandma J
That is so cute... it made my whole day. What a sweet and beautiful little girl she is - that picture of her speaks volumes about her personality - she looks so much like you!
that made me laugh. she is so cute.
I would love to be added to your blog list and I will add you as well.
My 1st grader came home after discussing the election at school and I asked him who he thought he was going to vote for and he too said Obama. Then he asked who dad and I were voting for and then asked why. I told him some of my key points but assured him he could vote for whoever he wants. He said he wanted McCain, so again I told him he didn't have to but he told be he didn't want Obama taking anymore of his dad's paycheck. A six year old understands, what's up with the rest of the country.
