Happy Birthday Chad!

Happy Birthday to my brother!

He is a fun brother and uncle!

If you had told me 20 years ago how much I would like him now,

I wouldn't have believed you!

Chad was the only person home following

the breaking-off of my engagement

(said breaker-off eventually returned to his senses 

and called it back on)

He was a huge support to me as he hugged me and let me cry on him.

I should remind you that at this time he was 19 and

surely had more on his mind that taking care of his emotional sister.

He stuck in there, though, until he could pass me off to our parents.

That is Chad in a nutshell

He sticks in there when the going gets tough

lends a hand (or shoulder), and does it with a smile and a joke!
