Here are pictures from the main floor--just remember that we still have to do some painting, replace light fixtures, get new window treatments and do some other updating--but you get the idea!
the entry way--looking to the front door
the living room (aka home teaching room)
but Afton has also been practicing her rock star skills in here (note the guitar on the floor)
the family room--Afton is picking up some new rock star skills watching Hannah Montana
Matt's room--I'd like to say it's usually cleaner than this, but it's not.
Legos rule in Matt's world-he's always in the process of building or taking apart and hates to put things back.
the kitchen--please ignore all the school supplies stacked on the counters. They will be gone on Monday!
the eat-in area off the kitchen. I just like to sit here and stare out the window.
Mornings are beautiful in the backyard

Your house is beautiful. I am especially jealous of the yard--good grief--I've never seen that much green. I would be looking out the window full time.
Beautiful! I love how open it is and all the windows let in so much natural light. Love it!
Love it!!! How fun to get all settled into a new house! Good luck!
Hey I just looked at your blog and saw that you said that you are changing out light fixtures. If you need an electrician, my husband is one. Let me know if you need one. Or maybe your hubby is multitalented! ;-)
Hi, Melissa. I am Spencer's & Brittany's friend--you posted on my blog. How fun to make that connection! If you talk to those friends in your ward, feel free to tell them how touched I was by our brief acquaintance, but PLEASE do not let them think I was blabbing their names or stories to people! It would be illegal, not to mention unethical to do that, and I would hate it if they thought some nurse was out there doing that! I still feel so warm inside when I remember that day with them. Please give them my well wishes.
Love your new home!!! You must be enjoying all that space, we're so happy for all of you.
Love, Grandma J
Looks great! Glad I finally got to see your new table! (i know, not so new anymore)
